Privacy Policy

Boop is operated by Boop Go, Inc. (“Boop,” “we”). This policy explains what we collect and why. Questions? Email privacy@theboop.app.

Information we collect

• Pet photos you choose to upload, to create your pet’s cards and other features and so you don’t lose them.
• Your name and email, via Sign in with Apple.
• An account identifier that ties your data to you.
• Purchase records for BoopBucks and membership.
• Basic app usage and diagnostics to keep the app working.

How we use it

To create your pet’s cards and other AI features from the photos and information you provide; to develop, train, and improve our products, services, and AI models; to offer additional creations such as custom merchandise featuring your pet; to run your collection and the in-app economy; to provide support; and to keep the app working and safe.

Service providers

We share data only as needed with the providers who run the service: fal.ai (AI image generation; your uploaded photo is sent to generate the card), Supabase (database, file storage, and authentication), RevenueCat and Apple (purchases and subscriptions), and Vercel (hosting). We do not sell your personal data.

Your photos

Your photos are kept in private storage tied to your account. We use them to create your cards and other features you request, and to develop, train, and improve our products, services, and AI models, including to offer additional creations such as custom merchandise featuring your pet. They aren’t accessible to other users, and the app loads your photos through private, time-limited links generated just for your session. You can remove your photos anytime by deleting your account; if you’d prefer we not use your content to train our AI models, email privacy@theboop.app. Content already used to train our models may remain reflected in those models, which do not store or reproduce your individual photos.

Retention & your choices

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app: open You → Delete account. For help, email privacy@theboop.app.

Children

Boop is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We’ll update this page and its effective date when this policy changes.
